Di Feng, flutist, chamber musician and orchestra conductor. Former principal flute of the Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra and distinguished professor of chamber music at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music College.
Concertiste of the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in the class of professor Pierre-Yves ARTAUD and Maestro Devy ERLIH . At the meantime, he had the 1er Prix de flûte at the Ecole Nationale de Musique et de Danse d’Issy-les-Moulineaux under professor Mihi Kim. He performed in a number of masterclasses including that of Andras Adorjan, Emmanuel Pahud and Peter-Lukas Graf in Italy.
1st Prize winner and the Prize for the Best Contemporary Interpretation(Prix SACEM) of the 2nd Concours de Flûte ‘Jeunes Espoirs’, 2nd Prize of the Chamber Music Competition FNAPEC , and prize winner of the 2nd National Competition of Beijing, Di FENG has given numerous concerts in a variety of prestigious institutions, such as the Cité internationle des arts, the European House, The Chinese Cultural Centre in France, UNESCO, to name but a few. As member of the Orchestre de Flûte Français, Quatuor Octave and the Asian Flutist Federation, he has performed in a number of concert seasons in Germany, France, Slovenia, Croatia, South Korea, Japan, Hongkong and Taiwan.
